This program is for students of all grades and their parents and caregivers.
National PTA has a long-standing commitment to arts education. For over 50 years, Reflections has helped students explore their own thoughts, feelings and ideas, develop artistic literacy, increase confidence and find a love for learning. The Reflections program provides opportunities for recognition and access to the arts which boosts student confidence and success in the arts and in life.
Each year, hundreds of thousands of students in pre-K through grade 12 create original works of art in response to a student-created theme. In Reflections, students submit artworks in the available arts category areas and program divisions: Primary (Pre-K - Grade 2), Intermediate (Grades 3-5), Middle School (Grades 6-8), High School (Grades 9-12), Accessible Arts (All grades welcome).
I Belong!
That’s the theme for the 2025-26 Reflections Art Program, which has been bringing the arts to life for more than 10 million students since 1969. California State PTA and its members, families and kids are on the forefront of this amazing program, which increases community awareness of the importance of arts in education.
Reflections encourages students of all ages to:
Unleash creative talents and be inspired
Express themselves imaginatively in their artwork
Experience the fun and joy of making art
Tap into critical thinking skills to create art inspired by the annual theme
Receive positive recognition for their original works of art.
Your aspiring Aguila artist is invited to participate in Edison's art contest!
This year's PTA Reflections art contest theme is "I Belong!" Your student is invited to share their original artwork interpretation of this theme.
Categories are:
Dance Choreography
Film Production
Literature
Music Composition
Photography
and Visual Arts.
The contest is open to all grades, PK-5th, and you can submit an entry for one or more categories.

I Belong! ¡Pertenezco!
Ese es el tema del Programa de Arte de Reflexiones 2025-26, que ha estado dando vida a las artes para más de 10 millones de estudiantes desde 1969. La PTA del Estado de California y sus miembros, familias y niños están a la vanguardia de este increíble programa, que aumenta la conciencia de la comunidad sobre la importancia de las artes en la educación.
Reflections anima a los estudiantes de todas las edades a:
Desata talentos creativos e inspírate
Se expresan imaginativamente en su obra de arte
Experimenta la diversión y la alegría de hacer arte
Aprovecha las habilidades de pensamiento crítico para crear arte inspirado en el tema anual
Reciban reconocimiento positivo por sus obras de arte originales.

El tema del concurso de arte de las Reflexiones de la PTA de este año es "¡Yo pertenezco!" Tu estudiante está invitado a compartir su interpretación artística original de este tema.
Las categorías son:
Coreografía de Baile
Producción de Cine
Literatura
Composición Musical
Fotografía
y Artes Visuales.
El concurso está abierto a todos los grados, desde Preescolar hasta 5º, y se puede enviar una obra para una o más categorías.
